When developing a brand for Hemp Hounds, we needed to develop a sense of trust with today’s pet parents. The milk carton shape helps evoke a sense of comfort. It’s eye-catching online and creates a unique sound that the dog can identify with “treat”. Hemp still makes some people nervous, so our visual ID is extremely simple: clean fonts, black and white with pops of color and easy-flowing layouts.
Photography heroes the dog in a way that shows personality, but it has really crisp, clean lines that work well with the geometry of the rest of the shapes. The logo mark punctuates the layout, cleverly manipulating the lower case “h” with the silhouette of the dog. Overall vibe is stylish, comfortable, modern and warm.
