At Bex, we love a good tagline. It can really help consumers better understand brands quickly from an emotional or a logical perspective — or when magic really strikes, it’s a blend of both.
Emotive — This type of tagline describes the emotions that a brand experience should evoke.
Logical — This type of tagline describes a brand’s offerings or differentiator within its competitive set.
These are some of our favorite taglines over the years:

TROOV — Fuel your flow™
This one speaks to the defining principle of the brand — creating functional beverage products that help one get into a state of flow.

SPUDLOVE — We dig potatoes™
This clarifies the product offerings of potato chips along with the enthusiasm the brand has for their heroed ingredient. It also begins to tell the story that this brand actually farms its own potatoes.

RICHARD’S — Sip the Sky.™
This helps tell consumers that this is really rainwater, but it also sounds refreshing and delicious.

CLUTCH NAILS — They Stay. You Slay.
Since the brand tells a lot about the product category, but we narrow in on that — saying how their press on nails are long lasting and users can focus on what they do best.

LILY’S — Less Sugar. Sweet Life.™
This one does a little bit of speaking to the offering, but also the euphoria that comes along with the chocolate experience.

FLOUR + WATER — The source for great pasta™
The name speaks to the chefs’ ethos of simplicity, so we wanted to reinforce the ethos and also be really direct on the product offerings.

HEMP HOUNDS — A healthy dose of happy.™
Hemp Hounds brand name was already tackling the product offerings, so we wanted to amplify the feeling people have when giving their dogs a healthy treat.
As you develop your brand, consider how a tagline might be used to help consumers quickly and easily understand your brand offerings and benefits.
